Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a similar sentiment to those found at sportsbooks, though discrepancies can emerge based on differing information or levels of confidence among bettors. Sportsbooks typically set initial lines to balance betting action, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders expressing their beliefs about the probability of each outcome. If a significant difference exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, potentially driving the prediction market odds closer to those offered by sportsbooks as traders capitalize on the misalignment.
