On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. As more shares are traded for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. The market is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe Hapoel Jerusalem FC will win 3-5, they will buy shares in that outcome, driving up its price and probability.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Maccabi Netanya vs. Hapoel Jerusalem match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football league. Traders will be able to claim their winnings or fulfill their obligations based on whether their predicted exact score matches the actual result. The platform will verify the outcome against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy and fairness.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and therefore the odds in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Maccabi Netanya FC or Hapoel Jerusalem FC would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a recent match, could also shift expectations. Even weather conditions on the day of the match, or tactical announcements from the managers, could impact traders' beliefs and lead to adjustments in the probabilities reflected in this market. Unexpected events during the match itself will also impact the outcome.
