Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often incorporating information and analysis beyond what’s readily available to traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbook odds are set by professional oddsmakers, this market allows anyone to participate and express their view, potentially leading to differences. Discrepancies can arise from varying levels of information access, differing interpretations of data, or simply the collective insight of the prediction market participants. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks.
