Prediction market odds often differ from those found at traditional sportsbooks due to the wisdom of the crowd effect. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing a player’s chances, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. This dynamic can lead to prediction markets being more accurate than sportsbooks, particularly when there’s strong public sentiment or access to unique information.
