Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This can sometimes lead to implied probabilities that don't perfectly add up to 100%. In contrast, prediction markets, like this market, aim to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd, and the odds more closely represent true probabilities as traders buy and sell shares. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing information or risk assessments between market participants and sportsbook operators.
