Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective predictions of traders, aims to represent the true probability of an event occurring, though discrepancies can still arise due to differing information or biases. It's common to see prediction markets reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially identifying mispriced outcomes compared to initial sportsbook offerings.

Furthermore, large trades by influential market participants could create short-term price fluctuations, and overall market volume can indicate growing or waning interest in a particular outcome.
