Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by individuals willing to buy or sell based on their beliefs. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when there's strong public sentiment or information asymmetry. These differences can present opportunities for arbitrage, where traders exploit price differences between the two types of markets.
