Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. This can lead to discrepancies, with prediction markets sometimes offering more favorable odds, especially when there's significant disagreement between the 'wisdom of the crowd' and the sportsbook's initial assessment. Comparing this market to sportsbook odds can reveal areas where you might find an edge based on your own analysis.
