The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the event's likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand, meaning that if more people believe Samir Banerjee will win, the price of shares representing his victory will increase, and vice versa for Garrett Johns. This dynamic pricing allows for a fluid and responsive market.
