Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing or overvaluing a particular outcome, they can express that view by trading on Polymarket. This dynamic can lead to odds that diverge from, or converge with, those found at sportsbooks, depending on the information available to each.
