Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which may be influenced by factors like house bias or initial public perception. Sportsbooks typically set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, leading to a more fluid and potentially accurate assessment of probabilities. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access or varying interpretations of the same data, offering opportunities for arbitrage if significant differences emerge between the two.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price movements are driven by supply and demand; increased buying pressure raises the price, while increased selling pressure lowers it, ultimately establishing a real-time probability assessment for the M25 Mumbai match.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. It’s important to monitor official sources for the confirmed result, as this will determine the settlement of all outstanding shares in this market.
