Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of bettors, and can sometimes differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell. If prediction market odds significantly diverge from sportsbook lines, it could indicate disagreement about the true probability of an outcome, or that information is already priced into one market but not the other. Examining these differences can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making.
