Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit by balancing action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant difference emerges between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to note that sportsbooks and this market have different costs and incentives, leading to potential discrepancies.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the Kravchenko vs Johns match. As more shares are bought for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share represents the probability of that outcome occurring, and traders aim to profit by accurately predicting the event's result. The current volume traded indicates the level of interest and conviction surrounding each possible outcome.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
