Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market relies on individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds, it may indicate an opportunity for value betting, assuming you agree with the prediction market's assessment. It’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms.
