Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a margin for profit. This market, however, allows traders to collectively express their beliefs about the outcome, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities as more information is considered. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, biases, or simply variations in opinion between prediction market participants and sportsbook operators.
