Prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the opinions of many individual traders. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook is mispricing the outcome, they can express that view in this market, causing the odds to diverge. It's common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks, especially when there’s strong public interest and available information.
