Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders' willingness to buy or sell. If a significant discrepancy emerges between this market and sportsbook lines, arbitrage opportunities may arise for those who can trade on both. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking and incorporate information not always reflected in sportsbook odds.
