Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a more accurate assessment of probabilities than traditional sportsbook odds, as they aggregate the wisdom of the crowd. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which skews the implied probabilities. This market, like others, allows traders to express their beliefs without that built-in margin. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing levels of information and market participants. It’s common to see initial differences that narrow as the event approaches, with prediction markets often becoming more efficient in their pricing.
