Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market represents the collective beliefs of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the crowd perceives information differently than the bookmakers, or that one venue has more efficient pricing. It's important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms.
