Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own research and information. If there's a significant discrepancy between the two, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks, especially when there’s a lot of public information available and active trading. However, sportsbook odds still provide a useful benchmark for comparison.
