Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, influencing the payouts. This market, however, is driven purely by trader predictions, potentially leading to different probabilities. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets dynamically adjust as new information and opinions emerge from a wider range of participants. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as the event approaches and more volume is traded.

News regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or even pre-match interviews expressing confidence or doubt could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the fight conditions, such as a change in venue or rules, could also have an impact.
