Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the diverse perspectives of many traders. This can lead to prediction market odds being more accurate, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. However, sportsbook odds may initially move more quickly to incorporate breaking news, while this market may take longer to adjust due to the need for broader consensus.
