Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, as they reflect the wisdom of the crowd and are incentivized to be correct. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, especially if they differ significantly from the prediction market. It's common to see discrepancies, particularly early in the market cycle, as sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own models and may not immediately incorporate all available information. Comparing the two can help identify potential arbitrage opportunities or undervalued outcomes in this market.
