Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or limitations in their modeling, while this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd. If sportsbook odds significantly differ from those on Polymarket, it could indicate disagreement about the players' true probabilities of winning. It’s common to observe that prediction markets are more accurate than traditional forecasts, especially when there's substantial public interest and information available. However, sportsbook odds can still provide a valuable benchmark for comparison.
