Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own research and information. If there’s a significant discrepancy between the two, it may indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event. It's common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks over the long run, especially when there's a lot of public information available. However, sportsbooks may offer different types of wagers not available in this market.

This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the collective intelligence of the traders participating. The current price of shares reflects the market's assessment of each player's chances of winning.
