Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the players’ form and potential. If there’s a significant difference between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate an opportunity for value betting, assuming you agree with the market’s assessment.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence of those participating. The current top outcome has a chance percentage of 100, according to available data.

Unexpected results in earlier rounds of the tournament, or changes in playing conditions (weather, court surface), might also prompt traders to reassess their predictions.
