On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders can buy 'yes' or 'no' contracts, representing their belief in whether a particular outcome will occur. As more traders buy 'yes' contracts, the price of those contracts increases, and the price of 'no' contracts decreases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a contract reflects the implied probability of that outcome being true at the time of the trade. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Sharm ElSheikh tennis match between Mikhail Khodorchenko and Juan Pablo Jaramillo. The platform will verify the winner of the match against widely available and trusted sources to determine the winning outcome for this market. Traders holding the winning contract will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match takes place. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or updates on their recent performance could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather forecasts for Sharm ElSheikh on the day of the match could also play a role, as could any analysis released by tennis experts or commentators. A strong showing by either player in a preceding tournament, or even social media commentary, could also cause movement in this market.
