Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to provide informed opinions, and the collective intelligence can filter out biases. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes move faster to incorporate breaking news or expert analysis. It's important to compare both to get a comprehensive view of expectations for this market. Discrepancies can present potential arbitrage opportunities, though transaction fees and slippage should be considered.
