Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market aggregates the opinions of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, they can express that view by trading on Polymarket. This can lead to prediction market odds diverging from those found at sportsbooks, especially as new information becomes available. It’s important to compare both to gain a comprehensive understanding of the potential outcomes.
