Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook’s odds are inaccurate, they can express that view by trading in this market, potentially driving the price away from the sportsbook’s line. It's common to see discrepancies, particularly in events where public perception differs from expert analysis.
