Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of people believe a sportsbook is undervaluing or overvaluing a particular outcome, the odds on Polymarket may diverge. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when new information emerges or public sentiment shifts, offering potential value for informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the crowd. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a 'yes' share indicates the probability of that outcome occurring, while the price of a 'no' share reflects the probability of the opposite outcome. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations.
This market resolves around Nov 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the M15 Selva Gardena match between Daniel Aleksandar Amarandei and Manuel Plunger.
