Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may set initial lines based on power rankings and expert analysis, while this market incorporates the perspectives of many individual traders. Discrepancies can arise from differing information access, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of the prediction market, where odds adjust rapidly based on new information and trading activity. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional forecasts, especially when there's a significant amount of volume.
