Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. If prediction market participants have access to information that sportsbooks haven't fully priced in, you might see discrepancies. It’s common to observe that prediction markets are more accurate than traditional forecasts, especially when the event is complex or subject to unforeseen circumstances, but that isn’t always the case.
