Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an event occurring, as determined by traders. However, discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, market participants, and risk tolerance. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster than sportsbooks in response to new information or shifts in public opinion regarding this market. Comparing the two can provide a broader perspective on potential outcomes.
