Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on their own analysis and may incorporate a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome, potentially leading to more efficient pricing. While sportsbooks may adjust their odds based on betting action, the continuous trading on Polymarket allows for a more dynamic and responsive price discovery process. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as the event approaches.
