Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, they can express that view by trading in the opposite direction. This dynamic can lead to prediction market odds becoming more accurate, or at least representing a broader range of opinions than those found at sportsbooks. It’s important to compare and contrast to inform your own assessment.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding the players' form, injuries, or recent performance could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected weather conditions in Monastir, or changes to the court surface, could also impact the perceived likelihood of each player winning.
