Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines to balance their risk, while this market is driven purely by what traders believe will happen. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public opinion diverges from expert analysis. If a significant number of people believe an outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly, potentially offering value to informed bettors.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular player will win, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective prediction about the Mazatlan tennis match.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
