Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance their risk, while this market allows traders to continuously adjust probabilities based on new information and their own analysis. If there’s a significant difference, it may indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that new information hasn’t yet been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster than sportsbooks in response to breaking news or changing conditions.
