Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an event occurring as assessed by traders. This means that prediction market prices can sometimes be more efficient, especially when there is significant trading volume. However, sportsbook odds can be influenced by factors like public betting patterns and promotional offers, which may not be fully captured in this market. It's useful to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
