Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to express their own informed opinions. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. It's common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information, potentially offering a more accurate assessment of the likely outcome than static sportsbook lines.
