Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on traders directly assessing probabilities. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those found here, it could indicate a disagreement about the true likelihood of an outcome. It's common to see prediction markets being more accurate over time, especially when a large volume of traders participate. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined entirely by supply and demand, with traders adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis of the Van Orderlain vs Vukadin match.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Van Orderlain vs Vukadin match, as determined by the event organizers. This ensures a transparent and objective determination of the winning outcome. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies for future markets based on the verified result.
