Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an event occurring, as determined by traders. It's common to see differences between the two, as prediction markets can be influenced by unique insights and information not readily available to sportsbooks. Examining these differences can offer valuable perspectives on the perceived likelihood of various outcomes for this market.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective wisdom of the crowd and adjusts in real-time based on new information and trading activity related to the Kozlovsky vs Stice match.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
