Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, which can sometimes differ from sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set their lines based on their own models and to balance betting action, while this market relies on individuals freely expressing their beliefs. If prediction market odds significantly diverge from sportsbook odds, it might indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be accurate. It’s useful to compare them as part of a broader analysis.
