Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook odds which are set by professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or focus on specific information, while this market aggregates the opinions of many individual traders. Over time, prediction market prices often become more accurate as more information becomes available and trading volume increases. However, discrepancies can still exist due to differing risk appetites and information access between market participants and sportsbook operators. It's common to see this market move independently of sportsbook lines based on new information.
