Prediction market odds often differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks, reflecting the wisdom of the crowd versus the assessments of professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks set initial lines to balance their risk, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of people believe a sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular player winning, the prediction market odds will adjust accordingly. Discrepancies can arise from differing information, biases, or simply a larger and more diverse pool of participants influencing this market.
