Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, reflects the wisdom of the crowd, where participants directly express their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. While sportsbooks may initially have different odds, they often adjust closer to prediction market prices as more information becomes available and public sentiment shifts. It’s valuable to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
