Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to express their own independent assessments. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it is important to remember that prediction markets are subject to their own unique dynamics and may not always perfectly mirror sportsbook pricing.
