Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. This is because prediction markets allow anyone to participate and express their beliefs, potentially incorporating information not fully captured by bookmakers. While sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, access to unique information, or simply variations in risk assessment. It's common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as new information emerges.
