Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit from margins, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the collective insight of prediction market participants. It’s common to see this market adjust rapidly to new information, potentially leading to odds that diverge from, or converge with, those offered by sportsbooks.
