Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Comparing the implied probabilities from both sources can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making, although this market represents the views of traders on Polymarket.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants. The current price indicates the market's aggregate assessment of the likelihood of each player winning the match.

This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or significant shifts in expert analysis could all cause the odds to move.
